A 5-minute walk from Koen-Shimo Cable Car Station, cosy family-run ryokan Lalaca features indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths which use natural hot spring water directly pumped from the source. We loved the onsen! The food was such high quality and beautifully presented.

Fukuzumiro features an authentic Japanese atmosphere, natural hot spring baths and traditional Japanese-style rooms with garden or river views. It's a 15-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Station. A fantastic stay! The room with the river view is so incredible, I felt like I woke up in a movie. The beautiful sound of the river muffles the noises from other guests, because the walls are obviously thin and you can hear people shuffling through the corridors. But I slept really well, the futon floor bed is very comfortable. Also incredible breakfast. Staff so nice and sweet. And it has amazing private (!) onsen baths. For a really traditional and meditative experience, this is the place!

Lovely place with onsens which we really took advantage of during our stay! Facility was clean and cosy. We were pleasently surprised with music in the morning coming from what turned out to be a monastery and orphanage right outside our window

Beautiful rooms, open, big, nice onsen. Really good breakfast. Staff was very helpful. The room was clean and the surroundings fantastic.

It offers a 24-hour reception and free WiFi.... Near Kennai Station and shops. Lots of food outlets nearby. Quiet location, very friendly and helpful staff.

Located in front of Sakuragi-Cho Station, the high-rise Yokohama Washington Hotel offers free WiFi throughout the property, air-conditioned rooms and a restaurant with spectacular bay-side views. Location was excellent. Easy access to local attractions and across the road from train station.

Located in the Gora hot-spring area, Merveille Hakone Gora offers spacious Western rooms with a terrace. Plenty of amenities: free bar and tea, big rooms and good location. Perfect Japanese style breakfast. Free shuttle service from Gora station to the hotel (it's uphill!).

Hakone Pax Yoshino is located a 12-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Train Station and offers indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and traditional multi-course Kaiseki meals. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, so friendly at all times.

Clean, polite staff best location 250 m to subway exit with escalator nearby China town and convenience store around.
