Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Vynikající ve všech směrech. Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. I arranged a special surprise with the hotel to propose to my girlfriend, initially disguised as a birthday gift with a room upgrade and room service dinner. This review is thus not representative for the room linked to this booking. However, I want to specifically praise the hotel staff, with a specific shout-out to Katagiri. They went above and beyond to make this an unforgettable experience and I cannot thank them enough! The view from the seaside rooms is amazing and the beds are very comfy, the traditional dinner is on point and the staff is just wonderful.

Oyado Tsukiusagi poskytuje pokoje v destinaci Mijadžima. Jen 2,4 km odtud se nachází Pláž Tsutsumigaura Beach a Momijidani Park je 1,1 km daleko. Thank you for a beautiful stay here. There are only a few rooms, which makes it super private and comfortable. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The rooms are spacious and super clean and comfortable. They even provide free coffee in the lobby. Location is superb, just 3min walking from the ferry port (but still super quiet and peaceful)

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. Beautiful property, excellent staff AND amazing dinner. Just incredible.

Renewed in 2013, Sakuraya offers affordable Japanese-style rooms with mountain or sea views. Free Wi-Fi is available at the public areas. Miyajima Ferry Terminal is a 3-minute walk away. Skvělá lokalita, krásný pokoj, super onsen, milý personál.

Hotel Miyajima Morinoyado byl po rekonstrukci znovu otevřen v dubnu 2014 a nabízí pohodlné pokoje a prostorné veřejné lázně. Za 1 minutu dojdete k akváriu Miyajima a za 15 minut ke svatyni... We had an amazing stay here. The location was quiet and well located. Although the hotel is a bit older, it’s extremely well-maintained and full of charm. Our room was beautiful, and the futon beds were much more comfortable than expected. We also loved the comfy yukatas provided. The public bath/onsen was small, but we had it all to ourselves when we went, which made for a peaceful experience. The included dinner and breakfast were fantastic! We requested a vegetarian meal for one of us before arriving, and it was no problem at all - the vegetarian menu was just as varied and delicious as the standard one. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. After check-out, we were able to leave our luggage at the reception for a few hours. When we picked it up, they even offered us a free taxi ride to the ferry terminal.
