Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). The guesthouse was very clean, spacious and offered an included light evening meal and breakfast. The kitchen was spotless and every detail taken care of. The property was in a good location and the staff were friendly and helpful. Costs were very reasonable for what was offered and I recommend the guesthouse and would stay there again.

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. Very kind and welcoming staff. The location was beautiful and it’s very close to the walking path to Miyajima Ropeway. Upon arrival, they gave us a list of restaurants open late at night, which was very helpful! I only stayed one night but wished I stayed for two!

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. We had a one night stay here and wished we could have stayed longer. The room was clean, spacious, luxurious and comfortable and had a great view of the shrine. We also loved the rooftop public onsen. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Renewed in 2013, Sakuraya offers affordable Japanese-style rooms with mountain or sea views. Free Wi-Fi is available at the public areas. Miyajima Ferry Terminal is a 3-minute walk away. Skvělá lokalita, krásný pokoj, super onsen, milý personál.

Hotel Miyajima Morinoyado byl po rekonstrukci znovu otevřen v dubnu 2014 a nabízí pohodlné pokoje a prostorné veřejné lázně. Za 1 minutu dojdete k akváriu Miyajima a za 15 minut ke svatyni... The location was very quiet surrounded by nature and deer but only a few minutes away from the centre. Staff was exceptional friendly and helpful and the service during breakfast and dinner was excellent. We got a beautiful japanese room which was very cozy and comfortable. The food was absolutely outstanding. It was exceptionally good, of the highest quality, fantastically presented and really impressed us. Unfortunately we were only here for two nights but next time we will stay longer. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this accommodation.
