Langdale is a wonderful small Boutique Style Hotel with old world charme. The staff is very attentive and charming. The location is close to the train station Nanu Oya in the middle of tea plantations with stunning views and scenery. Loved our early morning walk through the teaplantation, the temperatures here are very pleasant and we felt like some exercise after some long travel days. We only spend on night to brake the train ride from Ella to Kandy which we thought was perfect. We could have easily stayed a little longer and just enjoyed this peaceful place. Beds were very comfortable and the whole hotel is spotless and perfectly maintained. We had dinner in the hotel, I personally preferred the local choices on the menu to the western style.

The sight from hotel room balcony is so picturesque and one can see view of Tea Estate, Beautiful lake and cloud kissing mountain in one frame. Room is very spacious and so is balcony. Room is kind of duplex and quite innovative in design. The hotel staff is very courteous, friendly and helpful. Their kitchen serves very tasty food and we all enjoyed. They have DJ room, Shishaw bar and firewood place too. We stayed there for one night and wanted to stay more but we had other things planned so couldn't. Would visit again for sure.

The hotel staff are very attentive to guests’ needs - be it booking car transfers or showing the best hike routes in the area. This place is a gem and we look forward to coming back.

Very good Breakfast and Dinner. We had Dinner in Hotel in Formal dining room, the Hotel provided jackets and ties on Loan. It was very authentic British Era Dining experience.

The location of the Hotel was ideal as it is quite close to the city and had a decent enough view. The public areas were nice and it had a nice little well kept garden.
