Kandy City Centre and the popular Temple of Tooth Relic is only 2 km away while Bandaranaike International Airport is 103 km away. One of the most enchanting places on earth! Nihal took exceptional care of us from the very first moment. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and we felt warmly welcomed. The property, the garden, and the pool are truly magical. We enjoyed lunch and breakfast, and both meals were absolutely delicious. The chef Idika came personally to check in to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. The location is in Kandy, just a five-minute tuk-tuk ride from the city centre. The hotel also kindly offered to drive us back and forth. Overall, a five-star-plus experience.

Located in the heart of Kandy City, Villa 49 is 1 km from the famous Temple of Tooth. Its restaurant serves local and Western dishes. Free Wi-Fi and parking are provided. A cable TV is available in the lobby. The room was lovely, the breakfast was delicious (they make the best hoppers ever), and the owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Wired internet access is available. The location. The music the atmosphere, for those who want relax , the stuff are very nice and generous. There is wonderful garden and nice swimming pool. The area around nice for traveling and exploring.

Everything! 😍 It was a nice surprise The hotel is in the high part of Kandy ( facing knuckles mountain and a golden Buddha), the view is spectacular. The Sky Pavilion is a jewel, decorated with taste, it’s quiet , clean and rooms are beautiful all with the stunning view on the mountains and you can also relax by the pool The manager takes a good care of his guests and the staff is really helpful and nice . They will help you with everything, visits, food and drinks , transportation , money change etc… In addition, the cooking is really good , the breakfast is top ! And finally , their Tuk Tuk driver is a gem, he will take you to the best places in the city . I will come back there .

It was quite confortable and the perfect stay just a bit outside the center of Kandy.

Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the property. The hotel is located on a hill, at first we were a little worried, as we were in our own car. But we got there well. The view from the room is wonderful, the food is delicious. The room is clean and cozy. The staff is very nice, helpful, friendly. Thank you very much!

The property is a 15-minute drive from the Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya. Kandy railway and bus stations are about 1 km away, while The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is 40 km away. It is 800 metres away from Kandyan Cultural Centre and 5 km from the Tea Museum. Nice accommodation in Kandy! So, in Kandy, life revolves around the lake. There are basically four sides of it - the crazy hectic side with the train station and the caffes and tourists, the temple side with the world-famous temple of the tooth relic which is also quite busy due to all the visitors, the sightseeing empty promenade side and the far corner of the lake, where the views are great and tourists are few - the quiet side. This side is where the Settle In Lodge is at. It is about 10 minute walk to the temple or 15/20 min walk to the "center" of the town - very pleasant walk by the lakeshore, by the way. I thoroughly enjoyed walking back and forth and staying someplace quiet. The accommodation itself was basic but nice, the room was spacious, WiFi was probably the best I encountered in Sri Lanka, they had the breakfast option too (I did not book that). The landlord was a high energy cool guy who organized my pickup and drop off at fair price and the communication was fast and on point. Would definitely recommend this place for those wanting to stay on the quiet side of Kandy!

Known as one of the best luxury hotels in Kandy, this hotel features traditional Sri Lankan architecture, an outdoor pool, a spa and a restaurant. I loved the attention of the restaurant staff, I didn’t like so much the reception staff on checkout, very pushy to write a review and took my phone to write her own and include names of staff that I didn’t recognize.
