Kareem and his staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was also good. There was hot water and the property is clean. Well maintained. Location is also perfect as all tourist attractions are nearby and the neighbourhood is also safe.

Dar Bensouda’s rooms combine the traditional architecture of the original palace with modern comforts. The rooms and suites are arranged around the fountain courtyard. They are air-conditioned and have a private bathroom. The suites have a bathtub and sitting room. This place is like a palace ! I was amazed when I stepped into the Riad.

We were warmly greeted, and seated in the center courtyard- which was gorgeous! We were given mint tea and some delicious cookies while our paperwork was being done. (we are still looking to find more of those cookies!) Our bed was very comfortable and the room was cozy and clean. (air conditioner worked great). breakfast was very lovely in the courtyard- with the fountains and the pool. You can also request to eat on the rooftop- which we forgot about. but it has a great view of the city. last- Mariem was super helpful- gave us many tips about the medina- and marked some things on the map for us. But she also suggested an excellent restaurant and called and made a reservation for us for dinner. (which was excellent- and the interior was incredibly beautiful!)

Free Wi-Fi access is provided. Wonderful staffs! Jusuf was amazing and so friendly and kind! He was extremely helpful and was able to accommodate and assist us with early breakfast and transportation when we had to catch an early train.

Dar Faracha Fes is set a 2-minute walk from the Medina of Fes and offers a rooftop terrace with a view of the city. It is traditionally designed and guests are free to relax on the patio or in the lounge. The Dar Faracha is a beautiful house, made very comfortable for guests. But what makes really the difference is the host: Maroud is able to make you feel at home, giving all the necessary assistance you may have, tailored for your needs. His friendliness is highly appreciated together with his professionalism. And what to say about the very nice lady who takes care of the breakfast and dinner? She is an unbelievable cook and a lovely person: if you stay there, ask for a dinner; you will be surprised by the quality and the flavor of food, a very enjoyable journey in the Moroccan cuisine. We loved our staying at Dar Faracha and recommend it: next time in Fes we will surely return there.

I can’t thank Mr Haddou enough for his warm hospitality and cheerful demeanor. Also, the manager Mr Noureddine was also very helpful and accommodating.
