Set in Chefchaouen, in a traditional architecture, Hotel Alkhalifa boasts a terrace and a garden. It has free Wi-Fi access available in all areas of the hotel. This hotel is a real gem. It is in an amazing location on the edge of the medina that is still accessible by a car but already on pedestrian zone. From here,it is a short walk to the creek, main shopping streets and the main square. You can also go up the mosque for a beautiful view and the path is right by the hotel. The view from the terrace for sunsets is unbelievable. The staff is kind, professional and helpful. Breakfast is very filling and with healthy choices. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The manager is super kind and really takes guest comfort seriously. We got upgraded to a higher level room due to some noisy guests. We did not even ask:). After 1 month of travelling in Morocco, this was top notch experience. Highly recommended and if it is in your budget, splurge on the 3rd floor suite that has direct access to terrace and corner views onto the medina and city. If I knew how comfortable and spectacular it is, I would have booked it right away!

Situated in the centre of Tangier, 2 km from the beach, this guesthouse offers an outdoor swimming pool and a view of Tangier Bay. The Grand Socco and medina are a 10-minute walk away. We liked the wonderful staff and management the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. The common areas were very cozy and inviting. We also liked that the hotel offered extras such as hammam and massage. Lastly, we also liked the location, since it was very central while also being in a quiet street.

Located in the Medina of Chefchaouene, Dar Zambra is a traditional, Moroccan guest house. It offers a terrace with mountain views and a lounge area. It is a 10-minute walk from Rass Elma. Zabir was incredibly helpful. He guided me on how to get to the hotel and arranged wonderful accommodation for my first night when their hot water system failed. The next day, I fell ill and was upgraded to the most beautiful room. That afternoon, I was served delicious Moroccan harira soup, compliments of the hotel, to help me recover. When it was time to leave, Zabir’s brother kindly took me to the bus station free of charge. These people were amazing, and as a solo female traveler, I am truly grateful for their kindness and generosity.

Lina Ryad & Spa is situated in the heart of Chefchaouen and offers a rooftop terrace with a view on the Medina. The on-site spa centre features an indoor pool, a hammam and a hot tub. 1) arrival and departure: When you say in a Riad, which is always inside a Medina ( old , walled city), your car will never take you to your stay. You invariably park in a parking lot outside or a town centre and are escorted to your Riad. Lina Ryad did fabulously on this. We kept them updated about our arrival time. Their team received us in the town square and helped us and our luggage reach the Riad. Riads do not have elevators and they helped us with our bags to our floors. The same process was repeated on our check out : bags to the lobby and then to our car 2) Extremely warm, supportive staff with greta communication skills. We had no difficulty at all communicating with them. We were received efficiently, welcomed with a traditional Mint tea and all information. It was super easy to check in and settle down 3) All Roads serve you breakfast. Lina Ryad did great with breakfast to order, 24 hour coffee machine , morning hot coffee and milk. Lunch and dinner were to order. We had one dinner there and that was great. Mix of Moroccan and Italian food 4) The facility itself is beautiful and wonderfully kept. The beds were comfortable and the bed linen and towers were clean. Basics like shower supplies, hair drier, iron, A/C were in place and worked well 5) you could book time for a private time in the heated pool and that was great. We did not use the spa though 6) Lina Ryad was exactly what our research showed we would get and was way more in terms of service quality 7) The location is great.. 5 minute walk to the town centre and in a very peaceful place

Wonderful from the very beginning: moroccan tea & cookies served in an amazing patio. Beautiful interior design, lots of local elements. Clean, comfortable. Very good breakfasts. Extremely helpful and polite staff. Good location.

Situated in Tangier Medina, this B&B offers a terrace with a view of the beach and a massage room. Providing free Wi-Fi in the public areas, the property organises guided tours. Breakfast on the rooftop was amazing and so peaceful. At the end of the day, sitting on the roof is so relaxing with the cool breeze. The staff were so kind, helpful and welcoming. The wifi would sometimes disonnect, but overall very good 👌. The location and those small allies to get to the Dar were so breathtaking and reminded me of my hometown Damascus.. but yours were very taken care of not gonna lie lol. The things that I felt missing were the bidet for toilet, would have been nice to experience to take a break from the European toilets. Oh and in the bathroom, would have been nice to have something to scrape the water. Shukran kteer ya shabab inshallah nazourkom marra ukhra!
