Situated in the historic district of Guadalajara, Hotel Portobelo is close to all main tourist attractions. It offers air-conditioned rooms with private bathroom, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Location and view was the best, the restaurant is pretty good and staff was friendly. The Internet was good for working.

I highly recommend staying here. We upgraded to a room called ‘Jocelyn’ and it was an absolutely beautiful view over looking the river valley. The room was bright and had a little fridge. The staff were fantastic! We were greeted with a margarita and fresh pico de gallo with nachos. The location was located just a little away from the hustle and bustle of the beach front and was very quiet. I especially missed being served Mezcalitas by Jesus on the rooftop patio and pool. We were served a nice breakfast each morning while we chatted over our ideas for the day. If you are looking for a quaint boutique hotel experience this is the place!

The breakfasr was amazing for one that is included with every room. The variety was terriffic. The room tv had Fox News. Little packages of cookies at the front desk. Very clean. Very helpful staff. This 4-star hotel is just a 3 minute walk from the Guadalajara Cathedral. Hotel Dali Plaza Ejecutivo features an on-site lounge, free Wi-Fi and air conditioned rooms. It was my third time in 3 years and the service was just as excellent as in the previous times. This time, the suite I was given was facing the street at the back of the hotel. At first, I thought it might be a bit noisy due to the music and the traffic, but at at night, it was surprisingly quiet. The layout of this room was different than the others, but still fairly spacious with a comfortable king sized bed, a desk area and a little coffee/kitchen counter. It is located at a short walking distance to the cathedral and main attractions in the old historic downtown, also close to the subway and numerous restaurants. It looks like Dali has become my hotel of choice in Guadalajara.
