Incredible ambience in a historic and impeccably restored and maintained sea vessel. So many wonderful details for comfort including great hospitality and a fabulous breakfast buffet worth every penny. Just a few steps to the ferry but the immediate area has its own personality and has a lot to offer. Favorite moment was when a swan swam by our eye-level porthole. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks for everything! We’ll be back!

Offering nice views of the Haarlem city centre surroundings, the spacious Brasss Hotel Suites feature luxury amenities and large bathrooms. Guests benefit from free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Fantastic location near old town square and restaurants. Only 15 min walk to station. Excellent communication on Booking.com to arrange arrival. Great room. Refreshment tables in halls plus free mini bars were nice touches. Quirky 2 person lift cleverly fitted inside old house saved the stairs. All round a great stay.

Hotel Texel is characterized by its welcoming hospitality in combination with modern comforts. Relax in this charming hotel with a heated indoor pool and a fine dining restaurant. Loved our stay here. The staff were very friendly, the room was cute and very comfortable. The restaurant is also great, with plenty of fine dining options. And if you feel like something different, there's another restaurant 5 minutes away. We cycled along the dunes using the rental bikes. I'd recommend the electric ones if the wind is strong. They're powerful enough to ride comfortably through the insane Texel winds. We also borrowed binoculars from the front desk to check out the birds. Very nice. Would come back if we want to visit Texel again!
