Hotel Fabrica do Chocolate se nachází ve městě Viana do Castelo, 6 minut chůze od řeky Lima, a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách. Hosté mají volný vstup do muzea čokolády. The service and food were so good! The free pass to the museum was fun also! I enjoyed the good chocolate and the free cocktail! The room was very nice and the bed was soft!

The Hotel da Oliveira is within the historical Guimarães city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Guimarães Castle, the city’s most iconic landmark is 150 metres away. The spaciousness of the room in a beautifully restored building. The hotel is situated right in the center of the old town which provides access to all that is Guimaraes.

Situated in a 12th century Augustin Convent, the Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes overlooks Guimarães. Rooms are equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning and cable TV. The staffs were so kind, when we found the room was no good, she changed the other room for us quickly . Also the reception were patient to give us useful information about the city.

Super clean apartment on the first floor with needed kitchen equipment for make a light meal. The apartment is all white, which makes it easy to see that the apartment is very clean. There are bathrobes and slippers for when one gets back “home”, and dishwasher for cleaning the dishes so one does not need to hand wash. The bed and pillows are on the firm side (perfect for me). There is a small convenience/supermarket just a few steps away, and a larger one (Pingo Doce) about 5 min walk away (I am a speed walker FYI). The bus terminal is 5 min away (Google map says 7 min). All the “tourist sites” are near the apartment. Train station is about a 10 min walk (Google map says 13-15 min). Can’t comment on parking as I didn’t drive, but I saw parking sign near the square where the apartment is located. Margarida provides breakfast for the entire stay, so please let her know if there is any dietary restriction. I didn’t as I didn’t expect it to be a “complete” continental breakfast (bread, prosciutto, cheese, milk, fruit juice, fruit, water, soda and even a bottle of vino verde!). I am gluten/sodium/sugar free due to health issues, so it isn’t easy for me when I travel, but for future visits I would definitely let Margarida know about my dietary restrictions. Overall I really enjoyed this stay and would definitely stay here again when I am back to Braga!

Located within Guimarães city wall, in a manor house from the 18th century, Casa do Juncal combines history with modern comfort and elegance. The location of the hotel was excellent! Just a few steps from the historic center square. Breakfast was also delicious and we were able to request special items. And the staff was so friendly! Check-in was so easy.
