Oh what a fabulous hotel! We were in Dark Chocolate - comfy and it even smelled of dark choc. Lovely toiletries all chocolate. Amazing, really amazing breakfast.

The Hotel da Oliveira is within the historical Guimarães city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Guimarães Castle, the city’s most iconic landmark is 150 metres away. All the staff members were very friendly (Maria at the front dest was amaing and so kind). Loved the morning breakfast it was excellent. The room was very spacious. The building was so well decorated and very calming. 10s all around!!! Super accomdating if you bring a car as well.

Situated in a 12th century Augustin Convent, the Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes overlooks Guimarães. Rooms are equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning and cable TV. All the staff has been super helpful! We had a wonderful stay there. The balcony and the garden were so beautiful and from the balcony you can see a great view of Guimarães when the weather is nice 😊👍! Also, the breakfast was delicious!

A balcony, a seperate living room with a kitchen and a sleeping room with a huge shower. You have a private washing machine inside the apartment. The apartment is right in the center of town, very easy to get anywhere and 10 minutes walk to the central bus station. Very nice staff that met me at the entrance at check in. Cost effective compared to other properties in the same area.

The breakfast had a lot of variety and was very filling. This was one of my favorite stops along the Camino.
