The soundproof windows ensured a peaceful night's sleep, despite the bustling surroundings. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. Andrea, the girl on reception, was most helpful and friendly. Room was nice and , very clean, bathroom has a walk in shower . Kettle in the room . There is a lift to all floors. Breakfast was good , with a lot of choice. Luggage storage available . Garden to sit outside ,weather permitting!

Hotel Marathon has very comfortable beds. Our room was spacious, well appointed, and very clean. The bathroom was beautiful, very clean and included two plush bathrobes. The hotel also provided extra bathroom amenities like a shaving kit and dental hygiene kit (without having to ask for one). Our room had a door that opened to a large shared deck with lounge chairs. The room was cleaned daily (including fresh towels), without having to request this service. The hotel was very quiet, we slept extremely well every night. The hotel also has a private, gated parking lot. The restaurant on the ground floor, also called Marathon, is excellent! We had several meals there, including a family celebration. The owner is a very attentive, constantly paying attention to every detail. The staff is very well trained, courteous, friendly and helpful.

The 4-star boutique Hotel ALBRECHT is located in a quiet residential area, 10 minutes' walk from Bratislava Castle. It offers free internet access. I loved my stay at Hotel Albrecht. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and most important quiet. The restaurant was right downstairs with delicious dinners and breakfast and friendly and polite wait staff. While not in old town it's just a 10min walk to the castle. I would highly recommend this hotel when staying in Bratislava.
