The owners are very helpful and can provide information on the best places to watch whales, see fishermen in action, or explore nearby caves. Don’t hesitate to book a tour with Nicola, the guest house owner – she’s very easy to communicate with. There’s also a restaurant nearby, and the breakfast is amazing. Thank you for everything

Saxon Lodge a bed & breakfast in Gansbaai, which is known as the ideal location for shark cage diving and whale watching. Saxon Lodge was one of the best places to stay during our three week vacation in South Africa. The owners in particular were always very friendly and genuinely interested in us. We felt at home right from the start. All our questions were answered at all times. We were given an upgrade due to minor building work on our room. The location of the accommodation is perfect and the view of the harbor is magnificent. Thank you! We would stay here again at any time.

Milk in the fridge when you arrive, coffee setup was great, very tastefully decorated. Amazing hiking up the mountains or along the coast right from your door. Walking distance from nice beach and good restaurants.
