Boasting a splendid setting between mountains and sea, this charming Provençal style guesthouse is set in the historic town centre of Hermanus, overlooking the picturesque Old Harbour. The location was perfect with a view from our balcony to the bay. The rooms were spacious and the shared common room were fantastic. The staff we exteremely kind and responsive. They gifted us a bottle of wine for the most minor of inconvenience. The breakfast box for our early morning departure was tremendous!

Excellent stay! We came for the shark diving right across the street and stayed for two nights. Super helpful owner booked us great restaurants in the area. The room was spacious with a large terrace with sea view.

This was an unexpected surprise. Beautiful oasis and brilliant staff, greeted warmly and made to feel at home. The breakfasts are fabulous and atmosphere so fresh and welcoming. The croissants...to die for :) I even got a little package for my journey of an extra one, since it was noticed how much I loved them.

My friend, and I book this a few hours before staying at Kapensis! Katherine helped us with every request we asked from sending us the GPS coordinates to pharmacies and a great dinner restaurant. She went above and beyond driving to the restaurant to meet us once we were finished the help assist us in finding the Properties location (GPS issue with our phones). She even gave us medicine for our allergies!

The spotless and spacious bathroom, and the large bed made for a wonderful night. The property is quiet, with leafy trees; parking is nicely located and it is safe. Breakfast was a delight.
