Boasting a splendid setting between mountains and sea, this charming Provençal style guesthouse is set in the historic town centre of Hermanus, overlooking the picturesque Old Harbour. Great location close to the sea, we could see whales in the bay from our balcony and there were many restaurant options close by. The room was clean, spacious and lovely, the staff very friendly and helpful.

Every detail was handled with seamless care and warmth, leaving us feeling both spoiled and at home. The food was exquisite—among the finest we’ve ever tasted in all our international travels. Each dish was crafted with a depth of flavor and artistry that elevated the dining experience to something unforgettable. Although our stay was brief—just one night—the impression it left on us will last far longer. We are already dreaming of our return, when we can take our time to savor this incredible place again. The Vineyard is truly a gem of Cape Town, and we cannot wait to return.

Everything was perfect. The Penthouse was large and nice, facilities were excellent and the view was amazing.
