I took my kids here for a night, what a wonderful, comfortable and excellent place to stay. The beds were so comfortable, the parking is behind a roller door under a car port, it is a very nice location and close to the city and just in general nice.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home. A big shout out to Joanne for all of her hospitality! The rooms were nice and big, I would definitely stay here again.

This was a near perfect hotel experience. From letting us keep our bags there whilst we flew to Alice Springs for 3 days to the seamlessness of just actually staying there, it was all excellent. The location is great for both the city and the river. We had a river view room and the view over the Oval, Festival theatre and the river was stunning. I didn't book a room with a balcony as we find we don't use them, but this time I wished that I had done. The bed was comfortable, there were complimentary snacks and a bottle of wine for my birthday arranged by the wonderful concierge, Lavinia. I loved the iPad to control the room and anything else that you needed for your stay. The staff were good without being too obsequious; when the remote broke, we had a new one within 30 mins and a sorry for putting us through that! The casino was huge but didn't impact on our stay, and the bar and restaurant were fab! The mixologist made me the best Cosmopolitan even though it wasn't on the menu. This was also the first hotel to have both a rubbish bin and a recycling bin.

Room was superb, especially noticed the comfy beds and pillows. The view from our rooms and the lobby area were gorgeous. We ate in the dining room, and enjoyed the view of the oval.

The location was perfect, on a beautiful street with lots of trees and colorful flowers of every hue. Five-minute walk to a famous bakery open 24 hours a day and a bus stop that goes directly into the center of the city. Nice room with all the amenities. But what REALLY makes this hotel special is the staff-- Melanie, Lucy and a woman whose names begins with T-- sorry, I can't remember it. They made it easy to enter my room after hours. They gave me advice about how to move around Adelaide and introduced me to the wonderful Australian people, history and politics. I will return to Adelaide and this hotel if I ever have the chance to visit Australia again.

At my time of staying the property is very new so it was very clean and and modern, but you could tell more attention to detail than usual had been done on the design and function of the hotel. The bedding was form but comfortable, a full mattress and not one of those “two beds crammed together” situations. The room felt spacious despite being fairly small in square feet and having plenty of furniture in it. The exhaust fan over the shower/toilet actually works! The shower was really great, full waterfall with decent pressure with the optional handheld bit. The parking was still being built so I couldn’t use that unfortunately, but the elevator has a floor for it so I assume parking will be available once it’s ready. I’ve stayed at a lot of different places that have kind of blended together over the years, but for this trip where I was taking my cat far from home for surgery, it was incredibly important we had the right place. The staff anticipated us and were extremely thoughtful on every aspect, from even before our arrival (on the phone asking questions) all the way through to our departure. The lady that greeted us when we arrived late at night was bloody excellent, very attentive and helpful on every aspect, extremely considerate of our situation and doing everything she could think of to be helpful and thoughtful. I can’t stress enough how wonderful she was. The location is also really excellent. There’s parks all around the hotel, with a short walk through one to a street full of restaurants. Very short drive into the main city for shopping etc. Just down the side street is houses, a kids playground that was busy on a Saturday, that type of thing. Feels like this is a pretty posh part of town, very comfortable and safe. I dunno, I don’t usually leave reviews for hotels and get slightly annoyed at the thousand emails and notifications you get post stay to rate and review, but before I’d even left I was like I actually want to leave one here.

Excellent spacious place and very pet friendly, and the owner is very kind and respectful, and great price
