Very efficient and supportive staff. Comfy rooms, the teintable glass between the bathroom and the bedroom is very nice. Most animations in the elevators are awsome (the Tetris one is not quite fun). Although expensive, the breakfast with a view on the Brisbane river is something to experience.

I loved Jephson! I stayed here for 5 days and would happily have stayed more. The staff were absolutely lovely, so friendly and helpful. Toowong is actually a great option, about 15-20 minutes on the bus or train to the centre or about half an hour on the ferry. Toowong village shopping centre is 5 minutes walk and has loads of infrastructure, there's a street full of good Asian restaurants and coffee shops between the station/bus stop and the hotel and KatsuCo next to the hotel is excellent. It's worth taking the public transport to take advantage of the significantly better price.
