Great location - only one stop to centre but felt like I was staying in the real Köln, as there didn’t appear to be any other tourists. Accommodation was spotless and really well equipped. Guido provided lots of helpful information that made the arrival process very easy and gave great ideas for local places to try.

I really appreciated how accommodating the staff were. Because of the summer heat, they even provided free cold bottle of water. They also have coffee and tea free for everyone. It was the first time that I saw a dorm room with bed that is double in size. There's light and outlet available for each bunk, as well as curtain for privacy. It was summer when I visited and the room is not AC. There's one fan provided for all 4 bunks, which is not enough, but is also understandable because the weather was kinda unexpected for the city apparently. As a suggestion, they may consider adding a clip fan for each bunk that the traveler can enjoy while tucked in the bed with curtain closed.

The breakfast is just fantastic out of this level of hotels. The stuff are very friendly and cordial. In a word, it's worth staying here for a leisure or business trip! By the way, balcony is pretty nice with a good prospect of city.

It is easily accessible by taking the U-Bahn from Cologne Central Station. There are restaurants, grocery stores and various convenience facilities around the hotel, so it wasn't difficult to get a meal or get the necessary items. The staff also welcomed me very kindly. The room was also clean.

The host was friendly, responsive, easy to take over keys and drop them off. The matrass and pillow were comfy. The shower pressure was great and the warm water comes immediately. There was a ventilator which is very important since keeping windows open was difficult due to noise and rain. There are plenty of garbage baskets, a shower gel and shampoo, towels, kitchen paper, coffee machine, microwave, small fridge with freezer. Great if you are out all day and don't spend any time in the room besides sleep. There is basic 2 plates, 2 cups, 2 bowls, 2 small pots and basic cuttlery, enough if you don't plan to cook anything.
