The pool is amazing! Very good breakfast, everyday something different and tasty, the cook even bakes cinnamon rolls! :D The staff is super helpful and kind, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again.

Loved our stay at Surokarsan 9 house! Staff were super friendly and ready to help us with getting our way about. Room was spacious and bathroom was of great size. The location was great and very convinient the inside is full of plants and very green, its a small jungle inside the city. The staff is very friendly and helpfull, we had help to book the ferry tickets and also transfer taxi and its really good to see that people still look after you, which makes the stay even better. The room was clean, confortable and nicely decorated. Another big plus it was the breakfast pack prepared as we had a tour very early in the morning and having an area to refill bottled water. There is a big issue yet with plastic waste and single use. Hotels should pressure more the Goverment to educate people about waste management and reducing the use. We see the more touristic areas being cleaned and as well hotels trying to reduce, still there is a long way to go and we just like to leave this suggestion for a better future in this amazing places.

What a hidden gem this hostel was. I just kept extending my stay because I loved the ambience of this place. It is brand new, very nicely decorated, comfortable, has kitchen, tasty breakfast, clean pool and most important - amazing staff. I made very good friends with them and was sad to leave. Thank you very much for such a good care! The area around the hostel is also very good. There are many places to eat, go for a drink or two, live music bars, batik workshop just by walking distance. They also organised my trip to Borobudur and Prambanan by scooter. If you want to drive yourself it is also possible - they can rent you one. All in all, this place has everything and even more. Don’t doubt and book.
