Joseph was extremely helpful giving lots of advice on places to visit in Fort Cochin and helping us arrange transport for the next part of our journey. The breakfasts were delicious and the rooftop area added a special charm. He and his wife were always available with a smile.

I loved everything about my stay here, extended straight away and would have loved staying here even longer! The place is immaculately clean, spacious, located in a nice contemporary house. I enjoyed the most - hospitality of the hosts. The communication was great, they sent me overview of the city with places to visit and eat, gave tips and discounts on tours and even helped me choose a great place (non touristy) to go saree shopping. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Our second stay at Bastian Homestay - lovely to see the family again. It was just as fabulous as we remembered from 5 years ago. Super clean and comfy. Amazingly tasty breakfasts every day. Great quiet location and just a 5 minute walk into the hub of Fort Kochi. Bastion and his family are super helpful, and can arrange excursions, sim cards, etc. Highly recommended.

I think the best thing about the guesthouse is Usha, the best hostess you could ever have in India. Always attentive to your tastes, she always advises the best, if you want she will cook for you a good grilled fish, she is a good cook. Ask her anything you want and she will solve it for you, she makes you feel at home.
The rooms are very good, they are not very big but they have hot water and they are very clean. And the historic center is a 5 minute walk, what more could you ask for?
