It takes 15 min till nearest Rialto stop from Santa Lucia train station by water bus. And 7 min walking to Hotel Palazzo Vitturi. Reason why we chose this hotel is that it locates two (San Marco & Rialto Bridge) important places very closely.
Also, easy access(12 min walking) to ‘Fondamente nove Sta.’ (water bus stop) for Murano Island.
This 13th century building is well renovated, and room is spacious. It was hot day but inside was kept cool and comfortable.
All staffs are kind and room clearing is good, too.
Breakfast has a lot of varieties and it’s one of the unforgettable moments looking at square and historical church from breakfast salon.

Location is superb, Saint Mark square is 2 mins walk away, literally just around the block. The staff is nice. The room was amazing. High quality interior design, comfortable bed, clean and well equiped bathroom. I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel, would totally choose for longer period as well. Wi-Fi is also strong. Totally recommended!

The location of this quiet, chic hotel is the best part, the room although small was very comfortable with small touches like the a fully stocked coffee machine and high end toiletries adding to the charm as well as the luxury soft towels.
We had a pretty view of the canal and there was also a window in the bathroom.

Excellent location in Venice, just 5 minutes from St Mark's Square and 5 minutes from the Rialto Bridge in it's own private courtyard. They offered an excellent continental breakfast with a very varied choice along with waiter service for beverages and cooked options. The rooms are comfortable with a safe, television and ensuite bathroom which has a rainfall power shower along with complimentary shampoo and shower gel. It also has a hairdryer and full length mirror. A really lovely hotel with very friendly staff who cannot do enough to make your stay a good one.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time staying at the Casa Verardo hotel and we’d highly recommend it to other travellers. The hotel is conveniently situated only five minutes away from the San Marco square and the San Zaccaria vaporetto station. It was therefore easy for us to quickly reach the heart of city while also being able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the somewhat remote street, where the hotel is located. The whole place has a charming atmosphere and the interiors are beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was continental, with sufficient choice of sweet and savoury foods, including some gluten-free pastry as well. I especially have to commend the hotel staff who were all incredibly friendly and helped us with everything we needed, including allowing us to keep our luggage at the hotel for a few hours after checking out. We look forward to coming back at some point for sure!
