We had a great stay at Keio Prelia! The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. Our room was great - cleaned daily, pyjamas and flip flops provided, and the shower in the ensuite bathroom was fantastic. The hotel location is excellent, approximately a 15 minute walk from Kyoto station, which provides easy access to sights around the city and further afield (Nara, Mt. Yoshino etc.) by train, metro and bus.

The hotel location is great due its proximity to Kyoto station where you can take the train to reach the points of interest. When we arrived with our camper bus we are very welcomed and got a parking lot right in front of the hotel as it can't go into the parking space with its 2m limitations. The receptionist are highly professional and all paper work was quickly done as our luggage was already brought to our room. The room is big and cosy and all facilities are at high standards. All room settings and orders can be made by an in-room-iPad and late hours a robot will serve to bring water or other supplies. It's a kind a fully digitalization I have not yet experienced to such extend. All personnel were extremely friendly and English spoke (most of them). The breakfast (we just choose two times the continental one in the Italian restaurant was great and here again you need to bring you device to order some of the food prepared by the chiefs. The selection there was mainly on egg benedict variation and I would liked to have more choices there. The buffet offered a good choice of what you like to have for your breakfast, so no complains here.

+ Location was close to JR Umekoji-Kyotonishi Station, which was just 1 stop away from Kyoto Station. Easy to transfer to other lines. This station was also very accessibility-friendly with escalators and elevators available, and the walk from the station to the hotel was also very flat - so bringing our luggage around was easy! It's also right next to the Kyoto Aquarium (kid-friendly!) and within Umekoji Park. We managed catch the various sakura and plum trees in their pre-full bloom states and the view was already incredible!

+ The hotel is new and quite modern, and there are so many things you can explore and activities you can do here! There are kids' play area, a quiet reading area, an audio room, a free-flow bar for alcohol and other beverages, free snacks, making your own coffee, coin laundry (only 3 machines though), and a public bath segregated for men and women. They also had an in-house fermentation factory next to it so you can enjoy the public bath and have a drink afterwards.
+ Congestion level for breakfast, laundry, and public bath can be monitored through the room's TV.
+ Breakfast was excellent and although the variety didn't change by much day-to-day, the taste and quality were great.
+ Comfortable lounge set you can use within the hotel premise.
+ Great for families with young children.

The room condition was great and spacious.
We were with my 6 year-old son and only booked a wide double bed which was huge enough for three of us, but they provided us with an extra single bed at no cost which we appreciated very much.
Also during the stay it was our wedding anniversary, and they prepared a present. How sweet of them!!
This is new hotel, so all facilities are clean and well maintained. The location was perfect, we could walk to Bontoncho, Simo gawa, Nishiki Market and other places without any hassle.
We definitely would stay here again when we come back to Kyoto. Thank you all staff at Good Nature Hotel for your warm and kind hospitality!
