This place is basically in the centre of Colombo but also completely calm surrounded by a nice garden, with a pool and seating around. It is an old nice wooden villa with a lovely atmosphere. Also we had a wonderful breakfast and the manager of the villa is a great man at the right place. Organised for us all we needed for a very good price and kids just loved him.

We stayed shortly at Horton Residence, only one night to catch the flight in the morning. However, it was a lovely stay! Due to train delay, we came later but were welcomed with a warm smile and a refreshment after the journey. We had a lovely chat with a wonderful owner of the place, who was smiley and very kind. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, there is a shared kitchen and common area in the house with tea and coffee. We wish we could’ve tried the pool with the beautiful view over the Lotus tower, maybe next time! :)

Room was large and bathroom was a good size. We booked with two double beds and there was ample space in the room. Shower was amazing. Very hot water and great pressure. Area was OK but need to walk to get to some shops. We arrived at 02:00 in the morning and there was someone to meet us.
