The location was in the heart of Old San Juan and there was a volunteer—who actually also functioned as part of the staff since the reception wasn't manned 24/7—cleaning the place everyday. Despite the COVID-19 restrictions already being lifted, surprisingly there were only a handful of guests when I was there. In my four nights I only had one roommate for two nights in the four-bed room I was assigned to. Another guy had another room all to himself throughout his stay, something very unusual for a hostel in a very good location.
I think the place was pretty and modern and vintage-looking at the same time, thanks to the black and white floor, white walls, huge doors, and high ceiling. While the kitchen was very minimal, the common area was super homey for me. I was actually working remotely during my stay and had to start working past midnight; the well-positioned table kept me focused and the TV and wide sofa provided comfort when I needed to take a break (okay, a nap as well).
I don't remember seeing air-conditioning controls in the room so it was centralized and was turned on day and night—much needed given how humid San Juan is. Lockers were big and each bed had a lamp. There was a bar just below the hostel, although I failed to grab a drink there. Boo.

My room was located by pool. The room was very clean, the breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel is next to Senor Frogs and Walgreens. If you're a cruiser then this is the place to be.
