Our stay at The Architects’ House was an absolute delight from start to finish. Henrik is one of those rare hosts who combines genuine warmth, professionalism, and an eye for detail that makes you feel at home the moment you arrive. Communication was seamless—every message was answered quickly and with kindness. We arrived early in the morning after a long flight, and Henrik went out of his way to make sure the apartment was ready for us by 9 a.m. His welcome message was so thoughtful and clear that check-in felt effortless. The apartment itself is stunning—full of character, beautifully designed, and steeped in history. You can feel the soul of Stockholm in every detail. The location couldn’t be better: right in the heart of Gamla Stan, on a quiet, picturesque street, steps away from the subway and the old town’s best cafés and restaurants. Small touches made all the difference—a bottle of wine waiting for us, fresh towels delivered with care, and the cozy atmosphere that made us feel like true locals. Even when a small issue came up with the hair dryer, Henrik’s immediate and gracious response reminded us how much he values his guests’ comfort. the hotel offers an exceptional experience in the very heart of Stockholm, with major sights like Royal palace and Castle Rock and dozens of museums and markets. walking out into the sunny waterfront is a spectacle all in by itself! the interior design combines modern with historical in an elegant way. the staff are very welcoming and friendly! oh and the beds are amazing! it's like sleeping on a cloud after a long walk in the beautiful Gamla Stan district!

The position is awesome, the hostel is in the heart of the old city, the kitchen is very nice and cleen and with everything you need for the dinner and the breakfast, the common sale is cozy with many games and puzzle. I appreciate so much the book with the tips for restaurant and places to visit. My stay was very pleasant and i thing i would come back. I miss Stockholm already, we see soon. (visit in January in double room)

The staff were super friendly and helpful! They let me check in half an hour earlier as the room was ready, they kept the luggage after the check out with no extra charge. The breakfast was simple but had everything in order to be completed(eggs, toast, yogurt, milk and cereal etc). The location was just great!! And it was very clean and comfortable. The single room was a bit small but it was okay! Also I loved the heating floors in the bathroom.
