We were upgraded to a suite, which we greatly appreciated as it meant having a living room where we could sit and relax. The staff were very friendly, the premises were clean and nice-looking, and the location was fantastic. Our kids devoured the complimentary cookies on arrival, and new water bottles were delivered to our room each evening. We had dinner one night at Uni, which was excellent, but very pricey.

This historic guest house is located in Boston's Back Bay district, only 2 minutes' walk from the Hynes Convention Center and various shops along Newbury Street.

Great location! You can walk around the entire Newbury area with ease. There are lots of restaurants and shopping right in the vicinity. It's also close to the train station, the library and other great spots.

You can’t ask for a better location. Right on Newbury Street. Easy 20-25 minute walk to Fenway. Lots of lovely buildings around and it seemed like a safe neighbourhood. The bed was comfy, as were the pillows. Our room (1) was fairly quiet from the street noise, as it is at the back of the property, however ear plugs were available which we didn’t need. Basic kitchen items available, if you want tea and sugar, bring them yourself. Only coffee pot coffee was available. Laundry washer and dryer is available on Level 3 for $2.50 per load (coin operated). Communication with the property manager was excellent and speedy. Instructions were clear.
