Gem in Cape Town Our stay at The Vineyard Hotel was almost accidental—just a single night stopover in Cape Town before heading deeper into the Western Cape. Nestled in the heart of a bustling city, the hotel felt like a secret sanctuary—an oasis where the gardens seemed like a direct slice out of the Garden of Eden itself. The lush greenery, perfectly tended grounds, and tranquil atmosphere transported us to another world. The facilities were absolutely world-class, and the staff went above and beyond in every possible way. We wanted for nothing. Every detail was handled with seamless care and warmth, leaving us feeling both spoiled and at home. The food was exquisite—among the finest we’ve ever tasted in all our international travels. Each dish was crafted with a depth of flavor and artistry that elevated the dining experience to something unforgettable. Although our stay was brief—just one night—the impression it left on us will last far longer. We are already dreaming of our return, when we can take our time to savor this incredible place again. Where to start? Everything!! This place is incredible. We had a two bedroom apartment for 5 nights and then a one bedroom for 1 night (because we had a flight cancellation). Both perfect. -the location is perfect - super safe (we were 2 girls) - breakfast is big with variety and great staff - the pool is not big but really nice to lounge around - the view from the top balconies is beautiful - the apartment are big and with everything you could need. - this place is really luxurious On a side note: BIG THANK YOU to both Ruby and Thandiswa. We couldn't make our flight so we ended up coming back. They were the sweetest. We felt a little bit lost and it felt like coming back to your aunties. They took our suitcases, brought us breakfast (and even remembered what we liked) even if it was too late and officially we had checked out. They took us to the pool and prepared our new room for an extra night for us. Honestly it couldn't have been better. Such incredible service. We felt safe and taken care of! We liked the decor; solar heating; privacy of room with blinds; spaciousness for suitcases and welcoming attitude of reception; security; door personnel and appreciated the careful attention on how to enter with QR code. Also on your exit form clarify that luggage can be stored in the building and this is not the same as drop off luggage. The receptionist explained this Left luggage option was possible.
