During check-in the staff provided full information regarding services the hotel offers and timing. The check-in itself was very smooth only 2 mins. Organisation of facilities of hotel spa and spa area. Great place to stay for relaxation and recreation. The rooms are huge, and well organised. Will definitely stay there again.

Everything was perfect, the room, the wonderful bathroom, the bar, the restaurant, the staff, the decoration throughout the hotel, the gardens, the views, the surrounding nature .... all is fantastic!

Located at the entrance to the Karwendel Nature Reserve in Pertisau, the Sonnenhof is next to the Achensee Golf Course. All rooms and apartments have a balcony with panoramic mountain views.

This is an excellent hotel. I stayed for one week on a walk in the mountains holiday. The hotel offers an outstanding value half-board option (breakfast and evening meal), which I recommend. They have a lovely system of table allocation. You are shown your table in the restaurant on your first day and this becomes your table for the duration of your stay, breakfast and evening meal. The service staff in the restaurant go the extra mile to ensure everything is to your satisfaction and all speak English to make you feel comfortable. The room is stylish and comfortable with a very well-equipped bathroom. As a bonus, my room had a balcony with a table and chairs, that offered fantastic views of the mountains, with both impressive sunrises and sunsets. The owners are involved in the day-to-day management of the hotel, and it shows. If you like good food, comfortable accommodation, fresh air and marvellous mountain walking on your doorstep this is a great choice.

The two ladies at breakfast were so pleasant and made every effort to make sure we had everything we needed. Made waking up a pleasure. The breakfast buffet was the best we've ever had at any hotel. The lakeside lounge area was also special. The rooftop spa area was tastefully done with views over the lake and mountains, although a 2pm opening time for the sauna felt overly restrictive.

Surrounded by a 70,000 m² meadow, this friendly spa hotel, which has been run by the same family for 3 generations, is located in the centre of Pertisau, on Tyrol’s Lake Achen.
