It's located in the middle of the rainforest but still very close to the ferry. The views are stunning, the hosts are very welcoming and breakfast was delicious as well!

It is situated right by the National Forest in a beautiful peaceful setting. The room was clean and bright with a large terrace looking directly at the forest. The birdsong in the morning was special. Matt is an excellent host, who gave insights into the local area and spent quality time with his guests. His breakfast fruit plates are really as good as all the other reviews have mentioned.

The common space was great with lots of seating and interesting books about Australian animals and plants. Good kitchen facilities with all you may need, as well as decently priced meals and coffees for purchase at their cafe that looked and smelled good. The sleeping facilities were also very spacious and comfortable, being right in the rainforest, immersed in nature was my favourite part!

Everything were very nice looking and practical, especially the pool area which are raised up in level, which is so clever thought of! The outdoor plants and outdoor areas around the house are lovely! In the evening we enjoyed games and the very large screens for movies via our own logins. Melanie, her team and Joe will do all they can to make you comfortable and make sure things work! Remember that you are in a rainforest, which provides exiting sounds and beautiful environment!

This is a quaint house set on a beautiful property. The house is quite spacious. Two bedrooms, large kitchen-dining area. Comfortable beds. Laundry-washing machine. You need to bring your own detergent. It is not hooked up to warm water, so only cold water wash which you have to program. No dryer-but there is a drying rack and a clothesline with clothespins in the garden. Nice big garden with furniture to sit outside front and back. There is also an outdoor dining table and a BBQ. No shampoo is provided. Shower has good water pressure. In the kitchen-toaster, kettle, panini press, pots and pans, etc. A dishwasher with soap provided. We enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet and peaceful. There is a pub down the road with some of the best French fries I have ever had. There is No WIFI.

The view was spectacular, even better than the photos as there was a wrap-around view of the Daintree, all the way to the water, with a couple tall palms swaying in the foreground whilst I swayed in the indoor hammock. Birds called, geckos chirped and gentle winds fluttered the leaves. There was a brief rainfall on a sunny day (it looked like fake rain on a movie set) followed by a rainbow. A luxury treehouse, even the bathroom and elevated bathtub have incredible views whilst also being private. My sister stayed in the lower house, which has its own bathroom - she loved the private outdoor shower amongst the tall foliage and the view from the mezzanine bed. We cooked all of our meals. The outdoor kitchen was very clean with everything we needed, including an herb garden - we used the basil and chives! The kitchen had salt, pepper & oil and we took Dean's advice to fill up on groceries in Mossman. We made mango fruit salad using the passionfruit and lemon from the property and sat at the outdoor table which had been decorated for us with cut flowers from the garden. My husband used the pool and said it was refreshingly cool. At night we gathered in the upper house to watch a movie, wifi was fine. The guide book was correct in that we did not have any mosquito issues so did not need to use any coils that were there. We saw various beautiful bugs outside around the property - a leaf insect, colourful beetles, a giant grasshopper - I don't normally like insects but they were actually cute and not interested in us. On the way out, we saw a cassowary cross the road, and a big blue butterfly. Truly magical.
