I loved everything! The setting is exceptional - there is no better place to hear and see the full spectrum of the jungle activity day and night. The new argentinian owner, Gonzalo, is fully dedicated to making this place an unforgettable experience for everyone. I especially appreciated all the eco-friendly touches he added to the main building. He is very consciencious and knows Costa Rica inside out. And If you don't usually like bunk beds, give this a try: the high wooden roof make the rooms feel very spacious, and the upper bunk is next to the windows screen and the jungle outside, with a net, privacy curtain, reading light and fan. Top confort. The general vibes of the hostel were chill, and guests were all happy to extend their stay. As a plus, the best grocery store in the region is just down the road.

Siquirres Mountain Lodge se nachází v destinaci Siquirres a poskytuje venkovní bazén, zahradu, terasu, bar a výhled na hory. We had a lovely time at Siquirres Mountain Lodge. Inge and her family were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property and grounds are beautiful. It’s a few miles out of Siquirres but easy to get to by car, and only 10 mins away from the starting point for our white water rafting trip (with Exploradores - which we would also highly recommend! 😄). There is a nice local restaurant less than 5 mins walk down the road, where we ate on both nights. We also took Inge’s horses out for a guided ride which was a lovely experience with beautiful views over the hills to Turialba. All in all a wonderful couple of days - and we would recommend very highly. Thank you! 😄

I stayed at Casita de Flores (the one-bedroom cottage). It was beautiful. The decor and layout were great and perfect for one person. There's AC, not fan, which is appreciated. Also, the grounds are lovely, very cultural and intimate. The owner Kim showed us around and gave a tour of the two-bedroom cottage and the area. It's Black owned (from an American woman), which I liked and wanted to support. I'm glad I did.

The property has direct access to the beach and it is a lovely beach. The villas were well equipped and in front of the pool, which is good too. Breakfast was good. It is a nice place to stay and relax.

Casa Modi se nachází v destinaci Puerto Viejo a má restauraci, pokojovou službu, bar, zahradu, terasu, dětské hřiště a výhled na město. We got the unit on the second floor. It had 2 bedrooms. Super comfy 200cm width bed. Fully equipped kitchen though the kitchen is outdoors, might not fit everyone. For us it was great. Barely any mosquitoes even outdoors. Nice place to buy fruits 5 minutes walk and a big organic supermarket less than 10 minutes walk. The beach is very close to the flat, big waves but we built sand castles with our baby so it was fine. It was very relaxing stay in a peaceful environment. They even have a laundry machine and were very responsive to all our requests. Felt very secluded. 10 minutes walk from the Jaguar Rescue Center.

The grounds are lovely and I especially liked the pool and the verandah. Room was perfect. When I ran into some problems the owner and her daughter went out of their way to help me, for which I’m very grateful.
