You can tell it's a new hotel and everything is nicely designed and higher end. The lighting in the room was good (really lovely ambient lighting) and the pillows and bedding were high quality. I liked that the toilet and shower were in separate rooms and that you could easily turn on the shower without getting wet. There was a tap in the hall with cold and sparkling water which was a huge plus. The breakfast buffet was really good and had several gluten free options and real maple syrup. They had a small kids activity corner in the lobby and gave our kids a small gift upon check-in. The hotel is next door to the train station and across the street from a mall that has a lot of restaurant options as well as a rooftop playground for the kids. Overall a really nice place and I would definitely stay here again if travelling through or visiting Lyon.

The staff was so exceptionally friendly - giving us a map with their personal highlights of Lyon that we had to see in our 2 day stay, pointing us to the rentable bikes throughout the city that we could take advantage of, and making sure that when my husband had an injury that was flaring up, we were provided with plenty of ice and reassured that they would call excellent doctors for us if we wanted.

Breakfast (for additional charge) was excellent . The service was excellent. Tea time was a nice addition. Our room was practical. It had both a window and a balcony.

Located in Pierrelatte, Le Domaine des Oliviers offers an outdoor seasonal swimming pool, terrace, garden and bar. The Gorges de l’Ardèche and Vallon-Pont d’Arc are both 35 km from the hotel. Wonderful overnight stay in our bicycle trip. Friendly and helpful staff. Very spacious room, great shower, fantastic dinner and fun playing billiards. Highly recommend!

The rooms have an 80 cm flat-screen TV with cable channels and free Wi-Fi. The bathrooms have a walk-in shower and private toilet. This is the nicest hotel in a great location, both for a ski vacation but also for non-skiers. They have great restaurants at the hotel, and it’s a family business which makes everything more welcoming and warm. The rooms are very clean, the shower is excellent. And breakfast was spectacular!
