The best part is the family who run the property and live in the back part of the haveli. They were so interesting to talk to and hospitable.

The location is also amazing, with plenty of hiking trails, water sports, and local attractions within easy reach. And the food! Oh my goodness, the food is delicious and plentiful. I had the best breakfast of my entire trip at Turtel hostel I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience. The staff are knowledgeable and happy to help plan your stay, and the hostel's commitment to sustainability is impressive.
