Van der Valk Hotel Venlo offers free parking and free WiFi throughout the entire hotel. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage space. We had travelled from Ireland to Dunkirk on a ferry that arrived at 0100hrs. After driving to Venlo , we arrived hours ahead of normal check- in time. A very kind man at reception facilitated an early check- in. We enjoyed an excellent Sunday breakfast before catching some sleep. A session in the swimming pool helped to refresh us.

This property is newly renovated and it was beautifully designed. The room had very thoughtful and comfortable features. The staff was lovely, warm, and welcoming, and not at all stuffy which can sometimes be an issue at properties of this caliber. We traveled with two young children and they were welcomed with great care. The little treats and gifts they left for us and our kids were so kind. The included breakfast was divine — wonderful variety and exceedingly delicious. All in all we couldn’t have asked for a better first stay and look forward to returning!

La Dominotte Arcen was is one of the best places I've ever stayed in. The renovations throughout are beautifully done, for example marble in the window sills and above the bathroom sink. Combine this with modern heating system and well appointed rooms furniture, so you get the perfect experience. Hosts were super friendly and also run a very cute cheese and wine shop downstairs, and at breakfast time, they invite you to go there and select items such as local cheeses for your breakfast. Eggs are fresh that morning from their chickens. The breakfast I have to say is the best I've had in years - all fresh local ingredients.
