We enjoyed the outdoor bush baths, the BBQ & the warm n cosy cabin. The old school kettle was a highlight. The location and the amenities are worth the money and the trip.

Cottage 45 Degree South is one of the nicest places I have stayed at. Quiet and peaceful, with all the amenities you need. I only wish we had stayed a few more days

Fiordland Discovery offers a scenic overnight boat cruise around New Zealand's iconic Milford Sound. Amazing trip. Great informative staff and chef but particularly the captain. Well worth doing if only to get the Sound to yourself and you need the time to spot all the dolphins, seals and penguins. We had the suite upstairs which was incredible-we didn’t sleep much because of looking at the stars. It was a small group so everyone got to know everyone else. We will never forget this experience.

The courtesy of the host, she helped us in organizing our stay in Te Anau, avtivuties sugestions and dining options. The room was quite confortable, warm and equipped. The breakfast was very rich and we had a super scrambled egg.

Located on the shores of Lake Te Anau, Fiordland Lakeview Motel and Apartments offers self-contained accommodation with free Wi-Fi and lake and garden views. Everything. We were in the older part. There is a living room and separate bedroom. It’s huge. The biggest space we’ve had on our journey. Spotlessly clean and has everything you could possibly need. The easy chairs may look a bit bulky and ugly but they are really, really comfortable. And there’s a balcony as well. The view over the lake is lovely and it’s about a five minute walk into town. And the gardens are beautifully maintained

Offering lake and mountain views, Radfords on the Lake is located across the road from Lake Te Anau. Free car parking is provided outside each apartment. The location right at the lake was beautiful and peaceful, and walking to and from the town center along the lake was always nice and relaxing. Our apartment on the upper floor had an unobstructed view of the lake. We liked the spacious living room and small kitchen area. The bathroom was functional, but did not feel as luxurious as the rest of the unit. The laundry facility was excellent; very fast washer and dryer. Spacious parking.
