As a lovely surprise, I received free cookies upon check-in on Christmas Day—a heartwarming gesture that added a festive touch. Another major plus was the free use of laundry machines, which was a huge convenience! If you’re looking for a well-located, impeccably clean, and welcoming place to stay in Taipei, Hanns Summer is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

A woman at the front desk went over and beyond to help my friend and I with recommendations. I can't recall her name, but she lived in the US (Houston and Portland) at one time.

Set in the hippest east area of Taipei, Star Hostel Taipei East has transformed from an old residential house to modern Eco-friendly accommodation hosting travellers worldwide. Very modern and very clean accomodation. The bunk bed you get is quite spacious in my opinion. It's defenitely worth the price!

Designed in the theme of trees, arTree hotel offers stylish guest rooms, a cosy terrace and 2 dining options. The upgraded my room from a 3-person room to a 4-person room with a big window towards the street and a bath tub near the window. That's awesome! Too sad, we came back too late every night and no time to enjoy the bath tub at all. What a pity! Anyway, the room is good, big, clean, tidy. The service is excellent. I complained the pillow was too soft, then they gave me some firm pillows. It is close to a market and the stadium.
