The property is located 2 blocks from Washington Convention Center, Capital One Arena, and two main metro stops, Metro Center and Gallery... Very friendly and inviting staff who always went out of their way to make you feel welcome and listened to. Very roomy and clean room with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel. Ever. Amenities were great, restaurant and bar was exceptional.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, The Poppy Georgetown Guesthouse and Gardens is set in Washington, 700 metres from The Capitol. The location was wonderful, on a beautiful, charming street. The Poppy is very warm and cozy, and having snacks and beverages available to guests, in addition to the breakfast each morning was really nice. Staff were friendly. We were there in very cold weather, but the outdoor area looks like it would be great in warmer westher.

The place is really cozy and stuffed with everything one would need to stay away from home whether it is a short or long stay. The neighbourhood is really quiet and plenty of parking available on the street.

Perfect, well equipped, clean and spacious 80sqm apartment in a nice house, located in a charming and very green neighborhood near Lincoln Park, on the East of Capitol Hill. The decor of the apartment was very tasteful, full of paintings and interesting books, and the owner of the place, who lives above was very welcoming. Wonderful café within 100 meters with a terrace overlooking Lincoln Park for taking breakfast. I wholeheartedly recommend the place.
