Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Boschendal Farm Estate is located in Simondium, a 10-minute drive from Franschhoek. Free WiFi access is available. The location of the Boschendal Estate is in one of the most beautiful areas in the western cape. The estate itself is just amazing. Both the accommodation and the level of service is absolutely phenomenal. We had an amazing dinner at Die Werf Restaurant which was very tasty and made very good, as well as the hospitality and the wine. And we also had some wine pairing at the cellar door and staff was very nice, very informative about the wine selection and was very friendly.

The unit was spacious, clean and the design was really interesting. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The complimentary wine tasting was a nice add on and the breakfast was really tasty!

Tim is a wonderful host and his enthusiasm for people shows through in the details of the property: the cottage was perfectly clean and tidy with all the amenities that make for a perfect stay, whether overnight of for several days. He also gave us plenty of information (out of his restaurant recommendations we picked one and ended up having a memorable dinner at Eleven restaurant in Franschhoek). The cottae is in a very quiet and green setting and has a next-door nature reserve walk. It has the rustic feel of a cottage with all the modern comforts, beautiful kitchen with modern appliances, fire stove, comfortable mattresses, and plenty of pillows. Don't forget to buy one or more jars of their wonderful lemon marmalade.

Incredible views and wonderful service from the staff. We arrived very late in the evening and everything was ready and waiting for us to settle in. They even checked in on us to make sure we had arrived safely! Also, the tastiest wine in Franschhoek (no jokes!)

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed at; not only in Franschhoek, but of all the places I have ever stayed at before. It is very spacious, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The farm and surroundings are gorgeous and peaceful, and the location to the town center is perfect. One could stay here in the winter or the summer, due to the indoor fireplace, hot tub and outdoor braai area. I love that it is also very private. Our host was extremely attentive; responding immediately whenever we asked her something. She was very friendly, helpful, and it was clear that she wanted us to enjoy our stay. We will now be staying here every time that we are in Franschhoek!

The property is simply gorgeous. The view from the breakfast room and from Garden/Pool is spectacular. Linda and her team are very welcoming and adorable. Breakfast was very good and with an amazing view on wine yard and mountains. Next time we will spend for sure more than one night.

What a fantastic getaway. A tranquil environment with plenty of birdlife and things to do, not only on the property but in the surrounding area as well. Superb service and plenty of privacy. Very responsive to all your needs. Would be back in a heart beat!
