It exceeded our expectations, especially since this was our first time visiting Providencia, and we weren’t sure how the island had recovered from the 2020 hurricane. The hotel is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, creating a tranquil and luxurious retreat. Alvaro, Melie, and the two ladies who cooked were all amazing—so welcoming and attentive. We still think about the delicious ceviche we had for lunch! We deeply appreciate all the effort put into making Monasterio del Viento such a luxurious and well-run option on Providencia—it truly shows. Herbert was incredibly easy to communicate with and arranged everything we needed seamlessly. The level of service was truly five-star, and we’ve already told many friends that if they ever visit Providencia, Monasterio del Viento is the only place to consider!

We had an incredible day! Everything was perfect from the staff to the cleanliness, the installations like the pool/rooftop. The staff was always very attentive and friendly. Everyone made sure we had a fantastic stay. The restaurant casa bonita was to die for, everything was delicious. This is the best hotel in the area because of the staff, the views, the beautiful squeaky clean rooms, the location, the breakfast buffet, and the piña coladas. Also, the hotel smells amazing! We will be coming back

The location it’s pretty nice and convenient! Walking distance from the airport (about 17-20 min) or 8 min car ride. Also, it’s just in front of Tonino Port which is the most popular marine where a lot of tours starts from. The staff was amazing, they went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. Thanks again to Marco Antonio for his hospitality and attention!
