Aquatio Cave Luxury Hotel & SPA is situated inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO World Heritage site. Featuring a on-site restaurant and free WiFi, the hotel is located 400 metres from MUSMA Museum. This is one of the most unique hotels we have ever stayed in - I would highly recommend Aquatio. You are within 5 minutes walking distance to pretty much anything in Matera and 2-3 minutes walk to the fabulous restaurant Francesca (we dined there twice it was so fantastic). We also used the spa to get a couples massage and my partner used the water therapies. The front desk staff were fantastic before and during our stay - they really helped us to arrange parking, the shuttle to and from the hotel to our parking spot and other requests we had like booking restaurants for us. A true concierge experience! You will thoroughly enjoy your stay. We will be back!

Vetera Matera is an absolute gem and one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the incredible care and attention to detail that has gone into restoring this historic property. The way they’ve blended the charm and heritage of the old building with elegant, modern interiors and thoughtful design is simply stunning. Every corner feels special, and it’s the kind of place where you just want to sit, take it all in, and enjoy the magical ambience. The location is perfect for exploring Matera, and the valet service made everything effortless. We left our car at their partner parking and were picked up directly, which made the whole arrival experience smooth and stress-free. Even though the hotel is relatively new, it feels like it has been welcoming guests for many years. That is a true credit to the management and the entire team, who were warm, professional, and made us feel so well looked after. The food was outstanding, the cocktails were delicious, and the whole atmosphere was romantic and unforgettable. Relais & Châteaux should be very proud to have Vetera Matera in their collection. We are already looking forward to coming back and cannot recommend it highly enough.

La SUITE Matera se nachází v Mateře, 600 metrů od muzea MUSMA a 500 metrů od kostela San Giovanni Battista. Ubytování bylo čisté, krásné, a nic nechybělo! Na pokoj jsme dostávali každý den kafe a vodu zdarma. Pokoj a celý hotel byl kvalitně vybaven. Personální byl vynikající, milý a vstřícný. Kavárna byla perfektní na odpočinek nebo práci, byli jsme velmi spokojeni!

BV Quarry Matera se nachází v destinaci Matera a poskytuje služby concierge, antialergenní ubytování, terasu, bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách a bar. Jen 300 metrů odtud je Matera Cathedral. Krásný hotel na krásném místě.

Conveniently located in Piazza San Pietro Caveoso in the Sassi di Matera, Sant'Angelo is a diffuse hotel whose rooms are arranged in a maze of caves, reached by alleys and steps. I stayed at Sant'Angelo Hotel for one night and I wouldn’t choose any other place for my stay in Matera! The hotel is located right in the heart of the old town, and from the moment I arrived, I felt completely immersed in the history of the city. The staff is incredibly welcoming and caring, always ready to help and ensure you have a pleasant stay. When we arrived, the driver Francesco was already waiting for us at the parking lot, ready to accompany us to the hotel. The first treat my partner and I received was a detailed explanation of the city map, which gave us a great first impression of Matera, along with a refreshing welcome drink. After that, they personally accompanied us to our room through a short walk, which made us feel truly special. We slept in a cave room with a private patio: an unforgettable experience that really made us feel connected to the past. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying the experience of staying in a room with a view! Highly recommended!

Dimora storica Giorni resort & spa se nachází v destinaci Pignola a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, sdíleným loungem a terasou. The property was unbelievable! Historic, unique beautiful details and grounds. Each room was unique. The food was exceptional and staff so accommodating. We were in town for a family reunion in nearby Anzi. We felt as if we were staying with family. The pictures online don’t do it justice. This place is a gem! We will definitely be back.
