The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. During my recent stay I had the pleasure of interacting with Taranga, the front office in charge. Their warmth and efficiency made check-in a breeze, and throughout my stay, they were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. The reception team as a whole was incredibly welcoming and hospitable, creating a comfortable atmosphere from the moment I arrived. Special mention goes to Roshan the restaurant manager, whose friendly demeanor and attentive service added to the overall exceptional experience. I highly recommend the Golden Crown Hotel for its outstanding staff and impeccable service.

AMAZING… everything was just perfect, it exceeded expectations. Such a beautiful colonial style building restored with great quality furniture, design and great attentions to details. I don t have enough place here to express how great we felt. We were the only guests (our group) which made the experience even better. And the pool.. super clean, with amazing view. Take a tour around the property on the trails, it is amazing. - very confortable and large rooms; - food was also amazing, great breakfast, also din er we tried local food, very good. - it is a secluded location, in the middle of nature, away from traffic and crowds, so enjoy it at its best Mr Angelo was very nice and explained everything And the library ❤️ All of us loved our stay here! By the way: the detailed photos from booking are extremely accurate.

A nice place to unwind - definitely recommend for anyone seeking a zen experience while in the northern part of Sri Lanka.

We loved the family tent, which is a small appartment in itself, with a lot of space (parent’s room, kid’s room, living room, big modern bathroom). It was very clean. Breakfast was generous and delicious. The set up for pool and meals is gorgeous.

From the incredible staff who anticipated my every need, to the delicious food and the variety of activities in the area. I was truly surprised by how wonderful the place was. The property is not only perfect for those who appreciate comfort, but also for those looking to explore the nearby cultural sights. The team at the house went above and beyond to make sure our stay was unforgettable! The attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made our experience exceptional. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay, and I sincerely hope I can return as soon as possible!
