We had a wonderful stay at The Houghton Hotel during our trip to South Africa. The hotel is incredibly modern and stylish, with very spacious rooms. The bed was exceptionally comfortable—exactly what we needed after a long flight. One of the highlights was the breakfast, very tasty and lots of options. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay, and we were especially grateful that they accommodated a very early check-in so we could rest right away. Although we didn’t get a chance to use the hotel’s amenities, we did take a look around and everything—from the pool area to the wellness facilities—looked top-notch and beautifully maintained. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, upscale base in Johannesburg.

Located across the Menlyn Shopping Centre in Pretoria, Menlyn Boutique Hotel features an outdoor pool, a casual-dining restaurant, massage spa and conference facilities. Everything. Delicious breakfast, great service, friendly environment and very nice room. Third stay, hope to come back again!

Johannesburg carrying a bit of a scary reputation, we are so happy to have chosen this property for a leisure stay while waiting for our return international flight. This property is very luxury, with very high security and a magnificence garden, pool, and outdoor rest area. Suitable for both business and travel guests. As our flight was at midnight, Andrew the very efficient and kind manager allowed us to hang around later then the official check out, a favor that we did not take for granted, but fully appreciated. Prince was also very professional, helpful with all our needs...including cooking a marvelous dinner on location for us. What can we say more, maybe that we could happily have stayed 3 or 4 days on location just to unwind, either upon arrival of a long flight, or in preparation for the next one? Thanks to both of you Andrew and Price for such a wonderful last stop in our brilliant African experience. ps: ask the property to refer you to a secure taxi co. Forum Homini Boutique Hotel is set within a residential wildlife estate, only 13 km outside of Muldersdrift. It offers luxurious cave-style accommodation and a fine dining restaurant. The hotel is in a beautiful location. Saw wildlife every day. Security is excellent. Nothing is a problem for the staff and the food is out of this world. The ‘caves’ are luxurious and have every extra that you would need.
