Perched on top of the cliffs overlooking Hermanus’s Walker Bay, The Marine offers first-class splendour and elegance and a spectacular seascape, with imposing views extending across Western Capes... From the moment we were greated by name by the security guard to the time we left, our stay at the Marine was excellent. The staff were very helpful and professional. We had a wonderful dinner and breakfast.

Set between two of Hermanus's best swimming beaches, Birkenhead House offers luxury accommodation in individually decorated suites. The hotel is beautifully designed. Elegant yet comfortable/cozy. The staff was attentive, friendly and so helpful. The location is perfect. I enjoyed being a bit further out of town and the immediate access to the cliff trail. Breakfast in the terrace was the perfection. My massage was also a delightful experience.

Located just on the edge of Hermanus right beside ficks pool, they had just opened the new section of the hotel and the new rooms are fabulous but what makes this hotel even better is the staff.
