Slightly off-center from Spa but within easy reach of the center (15 minutes maximum on foot), this delightful, beautifully renovated property has enormous charm. There's a soul here, and the owner has turned it into a real gem. Everything is clean, the furniture is authentic (not modern plywood) and the hostess is utterly charming. A little extra: the floor is made of solid wood planks. But it's been so well thought out and manufactured that the floor doesn't squeak. The breakfast is excellent. And as it was Christmas time, the house was decorated to reflect the magic of the season. We'll definitely be back, it was so pleasant! It really was!

Location is nice, surrounded by pine trees and beautiful nature, which creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere. I really liked the staff — everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The rooms are partially renovated. The bathroom was in very good condition with new sanitary facilities and excellent amenities: bathrobes, slippers, even bath salt, as well as high-quality cosmetics. Pleasant lotions, shampoos, and hair conditioners were provided. Normally, I don’t use hotel toiletries and bring my own, but in this hotel the quality was genuinely good, and I was happy to use them. The hotel itself is not new and the rooms could benefit from further renovation, but this did not affect our stay at all. For us, it was a minor detail. The room was comfortable enough — we stayed in a lux room with a child, and the child had a separate room, which made our stay especially pleasant and relaxing. The swimming pool was well maintained, and we also enjoyed the Roman sauna. The Finnish sauna, however, was not hot enough for our taste — I would suggest increasing the temperature. Breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable: good coffee, decent pastries, tasty salmon, and a nice variety of options overall. We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed our time at the hotel.

Completely renovated for its reopening on 24 August 2022, the Roannay is located in Francorchamps, 800 metres from the mythical Spa-Francorchamps racetrack and 10 minutes from the Thermes de Spa.
