I only came for one night and it was worth it! Javier welcomed me warmly and showed me the way to the glamping house. The first impression was wow🤩 The path through the forest leads right to my entrance, next to it is a stream with orange fish. Everything is tastefully decorated, everything you need is there, even extras. There was a small clothes dryer and it worked perfectly, as did the hair dryer. The air conditioning worked, there was hot water, an extra blanket for the night. The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows and blankets. I felt comfortable sleeping there alone. The path through the forest was lit and looked romantic. And a special experience was the night view of the dancing forest, it was magical. Coffee, tea and juices were offered, and even snacks. The people who work there are very helpful and kind. In the morning I was greeted by Pizote (Coati)🥰 I left this camp very grateful and satisfied🙏🏽 I recommend it wholeheartedly it’s a unique experience💫

The staff were so friendly and made me feel super welcome. This made me feel so reassured seeing as I was travelling alone. The resident dogs were a wonderful addition and kept me company on my walks around the property. The pool was lovely which I had to myself throughout my stay. The cabin was clean and homely. The bed was so comfortable I slept wonderfully. I was awoken with bird song which made my morning and grounds of the property are great for a hike. If I was on monteverde again I would stay here no question. Peace and tranquility

My husband and I had an amazing stay at Valle Escondido. It was one of the highlights of our 3 week Costa Rica trip and we wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was huge, very clean and had a great view. The property itself is just beautiful and I especially love how much they value the environment and really try to make a positive impact. I also want to give a shout out to the manager Alfredo, we went on a tour of the property with him which was just great and made our stay really special. He also gave a great recommendations for the other places we were staying in Costa Rica.

Good location, great views, good breakfast, and helpful staff. Every morning so many birds in the trees outside would wake us up with their chirping. So many beautiful birds: parrots, tucans, etc. Make sure to bring binoculars to see them. This was a bonus.

She truly invested herself in making us feel comfortable and ensuring we had the best possible stay. She personally arranged all our tours and made sure we had transport to our next destination. Teh satff is super friendly and made our stay amazing. The food is excellent! The rooms are clean and comfortable The night tour for watching frogs and other fauna is free ever night, and it is totally worth it. The view of the volcano from the pool is unreal!!!
