The Arenal Manoa Resort provided my family of four (two teens) with an amazing vacation experience. I'm always nervous about trip planning and I got this one right! The facilities were clean and fun with sloths and wildlife to see by just walking around or having breakfast. The breakfast buffet was vast and had great variety including healthy options so one doesn't have to feel gross because of a lack of choices. All of the meals were great, from pizza to sushi to fine dining. Yum! The staff were so kind and friendly, we felt well taken care of and the selection of hot spring pools top off the experience because we didn't feel crowded. This resort was well worth it. We will stay again.

The view of the lake with the birds dancing around was breathtaking. The pool and hot tub were also high on our list. Really friendly guest services. It was a memorable stay. Early check in so that our 3 year old could have a nap was so appreciated. Thank you, we will be back!

What a great first impression of Costa Rica! From the moment I arrived the staff went out of their way to make sure I had a pleasant stay. The room was also bigger and more luxurious than I expected.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Tifakara Boutique Hotel is located just outside Arenal Volcano National Park in Fortuna where you can enjoy stunning volcanic views. What a magical place. Beautiful property with wonderful staff and a great view of the volcano, when it appears! It was perfect for our two families with teenage kids with the pool, hot tubs, ping pong and pool table. Breakfast was excellent with good variety and coffee/cookies on tap throughout the day was a hit. We loved the night frog tour and being able to walk to the waterfall, and town is just a short drive away. Highly recommended.

Lost Iguana Resort and Spa offers an outdoor pool, a gym and lush gardens with a maze. Each room has views of the Arenal Volcano, located just a 25-minute drive away. We loved everything about the Lost Iguana. The property was beautiful and we loved the location being out of town yet it was close to the hanging bridges, the volcano, and other activities. The hot pool was amazing. The included breakfast was awesome with local and American selections and offered variety every day. Hopefully we will be back

Located 14 km from Arenal Volcano National Park, Lomas del Volcan offers lush gardens, an outdoor pool and a hot tub. Each air-conditioned cabin has free Wi-Fi and flat-screen cable TV. When we arrived I saw one of the most breath taking views ever. The volcano is so close and makes a crazy impression. I could just stare at it. I wish we could stay longer. Such a peaceful and calm environment, breath taking view on the volcano, well maintained gardens, fantastic pool. So much wildlife- we could hear hundreds of birds all the time. I recommend visiting nearby restaurants as there are so many just a few minutes away. The only thing I didn’t like was a dinner at the hotel restaurant- it was expensive and really not too tasty. Very „Americanized” menu. I would rather have something local and simple. Breakfasts were wonderful though.

Customer service was exceptional and arrival felt very special. Literally you are in the middle of the rainforest. The hot springs were amazing and our son kept asking why we werent staying longer. The lodge was very beautiful indeed and felt very sheltered from others gaze. The amenities in our lodge and elsewhere were fabulous. Amazing food! Relaxed and atmospheric. We did a walk of the expansive grounds which are also very impressive.
