It is located in a quiet, peaceful area and just a short walk to the city center and train station. The breakfast was also very good. Caroline even prepared gluten free toast and sausage for me - very kind!

Stayed in the deluxe suite. The room was absolutely spotless, lovely roll top bath in a large bathroom, comfortable bed and room really well appointed. Lovely food in the bar also. Right in the centre of town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Set on York’s Clifton Road, Burton Stone Inn offers free WiFi access and 1 guaranteed parking space per room for all guests. Everything was perfect, starting with the staff -many thanks to George😊-continuing with the room (absolutelly lovely), facilities and the perfect location of the inn in a very nice and quite area (very close to the center and at the same time to the train station). As an extra, the bar was wonderfully decorated for Christmas.

Historický Grantham Arms se nachází ve městě Boroughbridge, pouhých 5 km od přírodní rezervace Staveley a Newby Hall & Gardens. I was staying alone to break up a long drive south and this was such a nice surprise. Really gorgeous room with so many nice touches and incredibly comfortable. So much character too. The breakfast was also great and all the staff really friendly. A really cool place to stay. Also, even though it’s a pub with rooms it didn’t feel like that. Everything was hotel quality, spotlessly clean and a lot of effort has gone into the rooms so they feel really special.

It’s a litter hard to find the hotel. Almost cost my 10min to find it. Except this, everything is wonderful!

Very nice accommodation with cozy rooms and comfortable beds. Rich and varied breakfast, great pub for your dinners and drinks. Convenient parking just behind the building.
