Great place to relax and visit Mt Fuji (15 min walk to bus stop to Subaru 5th station for Yoshida trail). Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine 8 min with taxi or 40 min walk/bus (its 0 station for Yoshida trail to Mt Fuji).

Staff are absolutely wonderful, this is one of the best places I have stayed. Ofcourse the view from the balcony in the room is amazing, with space to sit and relax. The public onsen and private rooftop onsen are wonderful watching the sunset with a view to Fuji. Don’t miss out on breakfast! Pick up from the train station and shuttle to town also worked really smoothly, just ask the helpful staff as we were able to arrive early to drop our bags off. The hotel lounge area is also very interesting and enjoyable, lots of art, books, relaxing and comfortable. Will always remember our stay here and recommend. Thankyou!

From the moment we arrived the hotel took our breath away even before we saw our room. I booked this hotel for my brother's birthday and the staff made this honestly a stay to remember. We used the bikes and went on a bike ride and we had an onsen in our room which was great as my brother has tattoos. The view from our room was beautiful! On the night of our meal our waitress asked to take a picture of us which she then had printed and framed and put on our table for breakfast which was such a lovely memorable touch!

Situated in Fujikawaguchiko, 2.9 km from Lake Kawaguchi, Hananoyado Yumefuji features each room with a private garden with a terrace. Kawaguchiko Station is just a 5-minute walk away from the villa. I enjoyed my stay in this lovely hotel. The room is very clean, cozy and well decorated. The staff are very friendly, hospitable and attentive. Breakfast is yummy. I will stay there again next time when I visit Kawaguchiko.

Boasting a view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Maruei feature warmly decorated Japanese-style rooms and is located a 15-minute bus ride from Kawaguchiko Train Station. Excellent Ryokan! Very beautiful, very clean, the staff is helpful and speaks well English. The diner and breakfast, Japanese style, were sumptuous. We took the room with the open-air bath withe te view of Mount Fuji and it was perfect. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who want the full ryokan experience.

We have visited the facility already for the second time, and enjoyed every moment there. Fascinating service, very comfortable rooms, exceptional dinner, very friendly staff. The view of Mt. Fuji directly from the bed is amazing. Sauna and jacuzzi in the room so convenient.
