Our stay at Casa Del Mar was perhaps the most ideal, relaxing stay we have ever experienced. My husband actually sat still for several days, poolside, and read a book (!!!), dipped in the pool occasionally, slept in the shade, meditated on the ocean scene spread out before him (jet skis far enough in the distance to be interesting but not noisy, parasails colorfully dotting the warm blue skies against puffy white clouds). Breakfast was declicious with western and suburb local offerings—-and plenty of everything. Bar service was exceptional throughout the day. We dined on site one night and the menu, food, and service on the beach was, again, exceptional. The entire staff was all smiles and eager to please—-we felt so very welcome. And—drum roll: the turndown service each evening was charming! We would go out to dinner (the hotel is steps away from the throng of downtown Cenang with all it’s shopping and dining options) though the facility itself feels miles removed) and when we’d return to our room, the lights were dimmed, soft jazz was playing on the internet radio, the sheets were exquisitely “turned” with clever little tokens of paper messages about the weather forecast for the next day, suggestions of what to do, etc. It was like getting a fortune cookie on your bed (without the calories!). Speaking of calories, as part of the turndown service, they also provided large ceramic mugs with fixings for either tea or hot chocolate. And they always had a jar of peanuts and coconut cookies to nibble on throughout the day. And we strongly encourage folks to reserve a “high tea” at least one afternoon. Their tiered trays of savory and patisserie dainties was just as delightful as everything else. We originally considered staying at the hotel further north—-the one with the rooms out over the water. But we opted to be within walking distance of town/activity and we are so very, very glad with out choice. Casa Del Mar is an exceptional hotel and great value!

Ambong Rainforest Retreat offers an adult-only getaway amidst tropical surroundings. Located on a steep hill within the rainforest, rooms are only accessible via long staircases. Its a beautiful place with total serenity. Its a beautiful in forest. Even the monkeys are behaved and have a peaceful behaviour 😄 The staff were always very helpful and interactive. From start, middle to finish, this hotel and it's staff are impeccable. There are 4 persons at any given time to check you in. They are very attentive, professional and polite. The hotel is in a wonderful location. Close to the beach, restaurants and shops yet it's very quiet and peaceful. Everything you could think of is available, you think of it and it's there, or else it can be organised. The food available at the accommodation is varied and very nice. Btw the airport is only 15mins away. Everything is HAKUNA MATATA.

Modern design and traditional Malay architecture feature at Ombak Villa Langkawi, just 5 minutes' drive from Langkawi International Airport and Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre. I had a very pleasant stay at Ombak Langkawi. The location is beautiful, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. A perfect place to enjoy nature and recharge. I hope to return again with my family. Highly recommended!

Park Avenue Hotel Sungai Petani, Kedah is situated strategically to accommodate travelers who happen to be in, or travel to Malaysia northern region via air or land. Really appreciate the upgrade to a suite with free breakfast. Suite was very spacious, and noticed the toilet came with two floor mats. Breakfast was good, plenty to choose from. They let us park our motorcycles right at the lobby entrance which gave us plenty of peace of mind.

Located near the ferry boat harbor, therefore convenient for us. Restaurants, grocery stores, etc within walking distance. I was quite pleased with the Poolside.

Surrounded by lush forests in a private island, Rebak Island Resort & Marina, Langkawi 大自然 野生动物与美食爱好者的天堂 Langkaw, offers exclusive island getaways with a private beach, a marina and tastefully... Loved the room. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. The whole resort is well laid out and there are a lot of activities to do. The breakfast every morning was different and nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
