Glamping Sites in Watamu

Everything was incredibly nice. Really quiet and cozy place with lots of vegetation that made it a small leafy oasis. Great view from the restaurant which had very good breakfast and food and very good service. The view and facilities in the room were unbeatable. We especially liked the net hammocks that hung out over the sea. The pool area was great with very attentive and friendly staff serving towels and drinks. A boat was available whenever you wanted to go over to Watamu.

We loved staying in the tent hut, showering under the trees and cooking and eating outside. The setting is so beautiful, surrounded by nature, and the beach and the sea are incredible. Truly magical place to stay.

We spent four days over Christmas at the nature camp - it is so peaceful, truly in nature, surrounded by trees and the houses with palm roofs - all built by Harrison and team! We were only a few mins on foot to Mida Creek where we could see flamingoes every day. We ate there several times and the food was really great. We loved going to the creek at sunset with Daniel and Jonathon in a dug out canoe, we learnt so much about mangroves and it was possibly one of the most beautiful, peaceful places we've ever been. We also were treated to a Giriama dance on Christmas eve which was so amazing. The kids were so talented and put our dancing to shame when we got up to join! The best bit however is the team. Harrison is so welcoming and really takes care of his guests, and has a lovely family. Philip is so so kind and friendly, and a great driver! Recommend to future guests to bring power banks and also that there's a local shop 5 mins away for water and snacks for those that need.

The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. They helped us with every request and gave us very good advice on what to do in the region. They also helped us with booking trips and tours as well as transport. The camp supports the local people in the village. Breakfast was very good and included a lot of local Swahili dishes. We were also able to have dinner at the camp for very reasonable prices. The camp is very pretty and a good place to chill and have fun. It's also just a two minute walk to the beautiful creek. You can enjoy nature and peace. The huts are nice and pretty and we just had a very great stay !!
