El Santuario was the perfect home base for exploring Minca! Nora and José Luis have obviously put a lot of love into their hotel- they were exceptionally kind and provided us with everything we needed during our stay. We split three rooms between 5 friends, which was totally comfortable for us. We started every morning taking in the stunning views while enjoying a delicious home cooked breakfast- the birdwatching is unparalleled to any place I’ve visited before! It’s a quick 10 minute drive to the center of Minca- we had a car, but the hotel will happily arrange a mototaxi for you, which I took advantage of as i chose to stay an extra night after my travel mates departed. We ended our evenings using the ample common areas to sip tequila and reflect on our adventures. The evenings were cool enough that we wouldn’t have used a/c even if it was available. Of course there are some bugs, but what else would you expect staying in a rustic town in the middle of the jungle?? Other reviewers noting this as a con are obviously unused to accommodations that strive to be as ecologically mindful as possible to their natural environments. Beautiful views, the bathroom has the most amazing view from the shower, the bed is super comfy and the animals are so sweet. A good walk from the center which is perfect, the breakfasts are delicious - you can choose from 3 (arepas, pancakes or smoothie bowls) all so tasty. The best coffee and cake, pizza and limonades as well :) We were meant to stay 2 nights and it will be closer to two weeks!

When we walked into this place, it was just absolutely breath taking. We had a group of 5 and we all agreed that it was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. The proximity to the beach is A+, the tents themselves are extremely luxurious, exceptionally clean and such a novelty. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, guiding us to some wonderful places which really made our trip. And the bar at the place was super cute too. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a summer getaway.

Trekker Glamping - EcoLodge Boutique se nachází v destinaci Minca a poskytuje venkovní bazén, zahradu, terasu a bar. the staff was extremely serviceable and helpful, we really felt looked after. this is the ultimate place to relax and unwind. the breakfast was nice and we did enjoy the cocktails! the rooms are absolutely beautiful with amazing views, we couldnt get enough!

Patricia cooks delicious food and her husband has a van and can drive you to other destinations. The bedroom and bathrooms are very clean. The huge yard has hammocks, work area, picnic tables and restrooms. It is two blocks from a hiking trail to another beach. You do not need a car. We had a great vacation!

The apartments have a magnificent view of the mountains and the sea, the play of the clouds is impressive. You are at an altitude of around 1500 m in the middle of the jungle and can enjoy the tropical birds and their background noises from the balcony. The apartment is very comfortably furnished. A very big thank you to Yurani, she prepared delicious food, organized the transport and also a trip with mules to the waterfall, an adventurous, unforgettable experience, a big thank you to Richard for this too.
